Sometimes workbike.co.uk
will offer free delivery as a promotion or special offer, this
offer only applies if the item is not returned as a `Non
Warranty return` within seven days of receipt. If the goods
are returned as Non Warranty. ie. Customer has changed his or
her mind, workbike.co.uk will apply a delivery charge of £70
for initial delivery. The customer is then responsible for the
cost of, and safe return of the item to us.
Your order
for goods is subject to availibity. If we are not able to
supply the goods to you for any reason after 28 days, we will
on request reimburse you for those goods. However, we will not
be responsible for compensating you for any other losses,
which you may suffer if we do not supply goods.
Any
goods offered on a free basic are subject to availability.
workbike.co.uk reserves the right to change items offered on a
free basis without warning.
Many of the goods we sell
are of a technical nature and unfortunately it is not
practical to publish detailed specifications of all the goods
and keep specifications 100% up to date at all times. All
drawings, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising
on our website are for the sole purpose of giving approximate
descriptions of the goods. Product descriptions or
illustrations will not form part of the contract between us
and you.
All size specifications on our website are
approximates.
Non warranty returns will be accepted if
received within 7 working days of the date of receipt by you.
All such goods must be returned in a perfect unused condition
complete with original packaging and all accessories. Goods
which do not comply with this condition will not be accepted
by us. Where goods are returned in accordance with this
provision, we will reimburse any money already paid by,
excluding initial delivery, and return collection costs
incurred by us. Non warranty returns will not be accepted from
customers who decide the purchase option `Registration
Requires my Name/Address`, prior to leaving our premises. This
is in accordance with The Consumer Protection Distance selling
Regulations 2000, paragraph 6.1(c) Goods made to consumers
specifications or clearly personalised.
In cases where
a refund is due, we shall reimburse you within 30 days of our
receipt of the returned goods.
Our charges for the
various delivery options we offer are clearly outlined on our
checkout page which can be visited by clicking buy now on the
relevant product.
We regret that we cannot accept orders
for, or make deliveries to addresses outside of the United
Kingdom. For delivery addresses within the United Kingdom, we
will try to deliver the goods within the times stated in our
Delivery Schedule, but time shall not be of the essence. If no
times are specified as being guaranteed, delivery shall be
within a reasonable time. i.e. 28 days from the point of
order. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages,
charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the
goods.
We shall not be liable to you, for any failure
or delay in performance of our contract if it is due to an
event beyond our reasonable control. This includes, without
limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood,
tempest and national emergencies, and if so delayed, we shall
be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing
such obligations.
Should delivery be delayed for more
than 28 days from the day of order, you have the right to
cancel your order. In this case we will on request refund to
you any money paid for the goods including any pre paid
delivery charges. Furthermore, you will not be liable for any
credit card transaction charges.
When our carriers
deliver the goods, they will require you to sign for them. If
neither you, nor your representative are able to receive the
goods, our carrier will leave a card with you inviting you to
phone them to re arrange a mutually convenient delivery date.
Title of goods will pass to you on receipt of
delivery.
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you
must not accept them unless you feel that the damage is
acceptable. In any case you should inform us within 3 days of
either the date of delivery or the date by which one ought to
have known of the defect (where the defect is not apparent
upon a reasonable inspection.
The price for the goods
will be as stipulated on the website at the time when you
place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the
price to take account of any increase in our supplier's
prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if
due to an error or omission the price published for the goods
on our website is wrong.
We try to ensure that all
prices displayed on our website are accurate. If there is a
change of price after your purchase, and before delivery, we
will inform you of the correct price and give you an
opportunity to either cancel, or proceed with the order. If
the goods have already been delivered, we will give you the
opportunity to return the goods and receive a full refund of
the price and any delivery charges you have paid for the
goods.
Payment for the goods must be made by you in
accordance with our Purchase Procedure. All orders are credit
checked prior to dispatch. We can accept no responsibility if
any details you provide us with are incorrect or if any order
is held up as a result of incorrect details being submitted .
All prices on our website are in pounds sterling and
are inclusive of V.A.T. at the current
rate.
Workbike.co.uk has the right to terminate the
contract prior to the dispatch of goods.
In the case of
delivery delay caused as a result of a third party i.e..
carriers or delivery company, Workbike.co.uk reserved the
right to extend its guaranteed delivery period by 7
days.
Workbike.co.uk does not offer credit facilities.
You will receive with your goods a receipt, this will also be
your guarantee on the following terms: Should any of the goods
display a manufactural fault let us know in writing or by
email, and we will inform you of how and where to return your
goods. We will at our own discretion either replace or repair
the item.
All items (excluding tyres, light bulbs,
batteries, lubricants and inner tubes) are guaranteed for 12
months for domestic use)
We cannot provide a guarantee in
respect of any misuse, or any kind of off road activity,
Please note that if any repairs are done other than by a
member of workbike.co.uk, our guarantee will not apply. This
guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

The contract between us
shall be deemed, to have been made in England and shall be
governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be
resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will
use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. If you

Any such change shall not affect any contract subsisting
between us at the time of such change.
In the event of a
customer cancelling an order workbike.co.uk reserves the right
to deduct from the total refunded amount the credit card
handling fee of 4.5% of the total transaction .
